saw it this afternoon, amazing movie, I got all misty-eyed at the end. I was amazed how much of that footage I've never seen before. three things stuck out at me: 1) the afforementioned karting/"Rosebud" stuff, Senna really did seem to want pure racing with no money, politics, BS. (don't we all) 2) the spirtual/religious aspect of Senna's life. I don't know if that was over-emphasized in the movie or under-emphasized elsewhere. 3) Jean-Marie Balestre was a ****ing *******.
We had a group of karters head over yesterday for the 1:45 show...Small theater, but just look for the long line of of people wearing Piloti shoes and follow them. Intense, Inspiring, Tragic, Brilliant. A Must See.
LMAO! That's so funny 'cause I noticed them as well.... Also, how often do you see guys wearing Vettel hats in the 818?
Anyone know if this will be played again somewhere in SoCal? I wasn't able to make it the past few days
^^^^ that is really much typical in Motorsports in France. 4) Sir Cornhole Jackie Stewart is a ____________.
I thoroughly enjoyed this. He definitely was talented. I would have loved to see him and Schumi duke it out more (especially in the rain).
