Hey guys. Have you seen the September Issue of 'Pilota'? Great Write up about the "Muskegon Air Show/Ferry Trip". And,Haley and Chelle's "Car Show for the Vets".

Also,it is just about "Last Call" if you want to be in the "F.O.C. Member Directory". This Directory includes every Member from around the World. Just about every Ferrari Dealership in the World. Some Famous folks like 'Piero Ferrari' and 'Phil Hill'. So send in all of your Info. and a Photo,ASAP. (Skip doesn't have any Photo's of his Car....But,we all do,if he needs one....:) )

Also, they are asking for a Picture of a Vanity Plate,if you have one,on your Ferrari.

It doesn't say. But,since it is in the FOC Member Magazine,I would think that FOC Membership be the only criteria...?...

BTW....There is another "1958 Ferrari 250GTCalifornia Spyder Recreation" in the most recent issue (October) of the 'DuPont Registry of Fine Automobiles'. On page #42. It is Yellow/Black. 3400 Original Miles. "Just like the car in the movie 'Ferris Buellers Day Off'" (except that it's not Red/Tan) And it goes on to say,"Hard to distinguish from the Original". So,I am wondering if it is built on a real 250GT? Asking $49.9K OBO.

I'll have to check up on the Yellow/Black Calif Sypder. Sounds like the one reently on EBAY, that appeared to be a scam. I was able to leave a phone msg but they never called back. I emailed the owner but they offered no details just the same instruction: to leave $3000 in Paypal and they'll send me the car (From Houston TX) for me to review. Now doesn't that sound fishy?

The Alfa Romeo Club's fall drive will be on October 23, traversing some truly amazing roads in southwestern Wisconsin. Fchatters are invited again. I'll start a new thread with the details.

I don't think so....The DuPont Registry usually has pretty solid and reputable advertisers. And,I don't think that they would allow anyone to tarnish the reputation of their Mag. I can give you the Contact info.,via "P/M' if you want. Or just check out DuPontRegistry.com

I haven't seen that Silver one advertised locally lately. So,maybe that one is gone.

I don't know. Kind of agree with you. If you're dealing with a car like that, what's $3K? Maybe it was a New Orleans flood car:)
