    I am actually ordering a few more trophies today since attendance is even greater than expected, so there will be around 9-10 classes to be awarded trophies.

    Can you say what kind of cars will be there? Any extra-special ones? I'm trying to decide if I should go to the show or just go hunting downtown.

    You shall see, haha.
    The expected turnout at this point is roughly 100-200 cars.
    Plus one of the most well respected turbo shops, is bringing out a few cars that have been insanely modified.
    It'll be awesome, can't wait.

    I will be in Oakbrook for the 50th Anniversary Mercedes Benz Club event on Saturday with my old Mercedes, so this sounds like something to do on Sunday. Do we need to register in advance, or day of the show?

    No you don't need to register in advance.
    Registration will begin at 12:45
    Looking forward to seeing your benz there. BTW which old Benz is it?

    1958 Model 219. Old frumpy 4 door sedan, but really nice. Unusual model which was only made for a year and a half. Looks like the old 180-190 round body diesels.

    I've never seen one in person yet, that'll be nice to finally see one up close.

    Ok, as it stands today, I plan to attend. I'll also be a judge if you still need some. Hey I dug up my old Sony Watch Man and I'll put some fresh batteries in it for the game. Anyone up to hitting a local est. to finish watching the game after the show?

    I hear the weather might be iffy for Sunday.... But, seeing the season is almost over i will try to get out there with the 328 too... I haven't made it to any car shows yet this year...

    Yes siree! It is supposed to be a great weather weekend. And it is very close to my house. My Go Karts are "in", but still have to clear Customs. So, I am not sure if I'll have one of those there yet or not. But for sure the Red 308 will be there!

    Yes, it would be nice to see you too! It's been awhile!

    Car Attendance so far is looking amazing, plus a group of 1950s and 1960s cars are also gonna be swinging by.
    There are over 20 car clubs that have been invited, so it should be fun.

    It better be spotless, lol!

    I actually cleaned my car yesterday and are keeping it in the garage till Sunday.
    I'll tell ya, it's so clean that you can eat off the motor, lol.

    Took the GTO-R out today for a few mile jog down to the Friday car gathering at McD's today! Still have some mapping on the computer to do but should be able to go for the long drive on Sunday. :) That car is nutz!

    I am doing the anti-rain dance...I would hate to get even the underside dirty from the funky water on the road. That little beast has not been this clean in the past 29 years.

    we're still up working on the car..took a break to check weather.com... hopefully the storms will break up before getting here..
    Electromotive was supposed to send me a .bin file and didn't so we'll likely wait till the neighbors wake up and try and do some last minute tuning..all we can do in the middle of the night is clean up loose ends with wiring and some trim work

    Nice Pics! The first car in the 3rd picture won the award for the car most likely to be driven by Sanford & Son. Actually, Dino was telling me that somebody just left and abandoned that car there. We can see why. I would've had it towed before the show, though....

    Good to see everybody, and congrats Carla, on best Ferrari! Now you know you've arrived :O) I thought it was funny mine got one for 80s and older, when it is a 91.

    Hey don't talk about my competition that way. I heard we were neck in neck in the ballots. He was a Ferrari turned into a rusty Toyota.

    Hey congrat to you and Carla for winning. I did like how you won for your class. Dino told me that I wass one vote short of you. LOL!

    Hope the weather held out for everyone. I cooked getting home, got the car in, but had to take the bike out to do so. The sky literally opened up just as I got my car in, but the poor bike got nailed. So it was time to detail the bike.

    Thanks for everyone that came out we had a little over 100 cars show.
    It was nice meeting everyone also.

    Yes there was a 1 vote difference between the Daytona and Testarossa.
    We had the M3 club, Vette forums, euroteknik, chicagoz, 6speedonline and a few other car clubs that came out.
    It was just an outstanding turnout.
    I'll post all my pics as soon as I get a chance to upload them.

    By the way Carla, those pics are hilarious! LOL!
