Cars, Coffee, and Go-Karting! September 6 We are meeting at the Club Auto facility (11100 W. 8th Ave. Lakewood) Saturday morning, Sept 6th at 9am. Come and meet other car enthusiasts before heading to "The Track at Centennial" to race Karts that can reach 60 mph. Test your driving skills and experience up to 3 G's on the turns! Jim gave us a great rate, which is only $35 per person and includes a rental kart. (You will get more than 10 minutes) This is a meet, that will happen every first Saturday of Month year around (we have the Club Auto facility when it gets cold, but can still get together and keep warm.) Each month, we will do an activity after taking some time, to enjoy each others cars.
I used to run the track every tues and thurs and Ed and Jim always let you run longer than you paid for... I will try to make it to this one... I have been doing the cars and coffee in Lafayette with Ferg, a bunch of good guys up there as well. Maybe you guys could combine...
We have talked to the organizer with the Cars and Coffe Boulder, and look forward possibly to doing some combining this winter. I know a few who are going to the Boulder meet, then coming down to Club Auto, then finally ending up at The Track at Centennial. If you have not been to the Club Auto Facility, you are missing out. There has been some more new cars come in this week, for display.
