Because of Italian politics, Pininfarina has to stay in Italy.

He is a “lifetime senator” in the Italian Republic.

The election of his party’s candidate for President has been contested –

He Must Remain in Italy for the congressional vote for the next three weeks.

His vote is crucial in the decision for the Presidential election.

The museum, in association with the LA Museum of Art which sponsored this trip and exhibition, will reschedule this entire event, probably in December of this year.

My Email that I just received.

We regret to inform Modern members that The Evening with Sergio Pininfarina on May 4 has been postponed. As a lifetime Senator, Mr. Pininfarina has been asked to play a key role in the election of the President of the Italian Republic.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

    Best regards,

Boy were we in for a surprise if the event went through, I was talking to a friend of mine last night who’s step-father is on arts committee for the FWMOMA. There were several massive crates waiting to be set up marked “Ferrari Spa” & a couple of cars from Houston were in transit for this event. I’m trying to get my hands on any event posters (if any were even made) or prints if they are printed up locally.

I spoke to the manager of PR this morning, no posters were made for Sergio's visit but she is sending me the mailer inventions for the event. Depending how many I get, who ever wants one is more than welcome to PM me for one.
