I recently sold my 360 and want to upgrade to a 430 spider. Thought this would be the perfect forum to ask a few questions...

    1. Is there a new model or body style changes coming out soon to the 458 that would affect the value of the 430?

    2. what are the major things to look for, watch out for on a used f430 spider 05-06 with 10k miles or so?

    3. what would be a good price Red/Tan or black/black?

What happened to the 430 Scud you were selling in 09?

was selling the scud for a friend. He actually couldn't part with it so he kept it...the 430 would be for me.

You might want to ask your friend...:)

But, there's a ton of posts on this subject of the 430 spider already if you search.

I'll give you the short answer.

The 458 is basically new. They haven't even made a spider version and won't for almost another year. I would expect the 458 to be around in one way or another for the next 5 to 7 years.

Many will say look out for the headers but by now, all of them should have had them replaced modified under warranty. Have the dealer make sure all the campaigns are done. Aside from that, they have no one flaw to worry about. They are pretty reliable.

Your question about price is way too vague to answer. It depends on year, options, , gearbox type, mileage, condition, originality, etc. You can pay as little as 125K or as much as 220.
