I've been looking recently at both Gallardos and 360s. I've read a lot of threads comparing the two, and I've gotten a lot of really great information. One piece of information I haven't gathered yet regards the comparative service costs. I know the major services for F-cars can be quite pricey (belt service, etc). Are G-car service costs similar?

I've seen a lot of people talk about G-cars as daily drivers (which definitely appeals to me) as opposed to the 360s, but do you get killed with service costs by putting so many miles on the car?

    Thanks for the input,
    Jeff

Belt service on a 360 at a dealer should be around $1500. I drove my 360 7k miles (a year and a half) and sold it for $2500 over MSRP. Total costs were $1000 for the 5k service, next service (for new buyer) will be at 15k miles, plus annual fluid changes.

Probably similar service costs but the Lambo has chain driven cams; No change neccesary. Dont ride the clutch ( if 6 speed ) And all is well.
Either car will depreciate, $ to insure, Loan payoff or lease. I would drive either as much as possible because the fixed costs far outweigh any increased maintenance expenses of driving it. Figure $/mile, or smile as the case may be.
