Hello, I'm new to these forums and Ferrari ownership for that matter. I just purchased a 360 Modena in Florida and live in central Pa. I would appreciate any information regarding Algar Ferrari around Philadelphia or any other reputable service tech.
    Thank you for any information.

Algar does excellent work. $90/hr for a Ferrari Mechanic. Don't know how that stacks up agiainst others.

I have my Dino there right now. A+ people, from the owner on down.

Mark is the service manager, great guy, really knows the cars. And they won't B.S. you. Their top guys have tons of experience from race cars on down, and will talk cars as well as fix them for you.

In my case, they have assigned me a mechanic, who will always work on my car. I do not know if that is SOP, but, it is reassuring to know that Tony will be turning the wrench on my car, and will know from visit to visit, what is going on with the car.

I have experience with non-dealer service at a shop or two, and, it's not really cheaper, just a lower hourly rate. But experience counts.

Just my opinion, for what it's worth.

Thank you dm n stuff for the reply. I would rather go to an authorized dealer, especially one that is reputable.
I just wanted some feed back on their reputation.
    Thank you again.

Algar's people are great, I bought two 360's from them and a Marerati. Mark and everyone in service are very good and they will take the time to explain things to you. After watching them put in my carbon fiber, they really know their way around these cars. I would never take my cars anywhere else.

My family has been doing business with Algar for over ten years now, and we have never had a complaint. Service is A+, they take wonderful care of your vehicle while it is at their dealer, and they know every in and out of Ferraris, Alfa Romeos and Maseratis. Mark Cedrone is the most knowlegeable person I have ever met when it comes to those cars! I wouldn't even consider another place to take an Italian car!

PS-The best time to use Algar for service is the begining and middle of winter months(based on my experiences). Towards the spring/summer months, they begin to get real busy. They will always accomodate you, it just may take a little longer!

    Tom,

You can't just buy a Modena, and not post pics. That's highly unfair of you!! :) Have you added yourself to the Tri-State member info list (search for the thread), so you can be informed of events?!

    Regards.
