Brethren, an idea came to me yesterday where as we could generate a list of service providers for the benefit of all. Possibly it could be a 'Sticky' or even a link to an http site? It would be set up alphabetically by state and could be set up by different countries as well.
It would take an administrator to manage the list and keep it up to date as Robbie does for the 355 Registry...any volunteers? Anyway, it's just an idea that could prove useful.
Here's just a rough draft of what the content might be and that would be filled out for every provider. Please feel free to add any ideas or comments. What do you think feasable or just too much work?

    Country
    State
    City
    Name of the provider's shop
    Contact name
    Address
    Phone
    Service Type

I think it is a great idea!! We get many guys here asking for service help in different areas. Firsthand knowledge of good shops would be a great benefit to have and point users to. Even the name and country of shop with a link to there website. I'll post one below to show you what I mean.

I think the forum restricts such info to sponsors, they have been known to delete others, or at least mine...

Not against the rules to pass on firsthand info of reputable shops and their contact info. Posting info to your own business is not allowed.

Like Robbie says my intent was listing reputable service facilities that work on Ferrari's, not parts or accessories dealers, etc. It's always great especially for new owners to have options of where to go to get your Ferrari serviced that are in proximity to where you live.:D

If anyone in the Indy area is in need of service, contact Brian Stewart at Autocar Sports....I read somewhere that he is putting on a service special of some sort right now. :)

Hey Chris, totally forgot about that thread.....awesome!....now if we can just get someone to manage information and put it into a consistent user friendly format that is easily accessible and broken down into states etc. as mentioned before. A manageable data base list with the same information for all, not a place to promote your own business. It should be fair to all and not a place to either hype or air grievances.
