I hope to be acquiring a Mondial in the near future and I was wondering where to have the belt service and other maintenance performed? I live in Tarpon Springs, and the new Ferrari dealer is only 10 minutes away, but I was wondering if they know and have experience with the older cars? Are there any independent shops that do good work and know what they are doing? Thanks.

You can check out http://www.theautolegend.com/. Massimo Mondino is located at 400 Douglas Road East #D, Oldsmar, Florida. Also Frank Maderi, E-mail: [email protected] does work on a prearranged basis. Both of them should be able to take care of your Mondial.

I suggest you visit the new Ferrari dealer on Tampa Road, go to the service area and ask to speak to Gabe or to the parts guy, Nick. Gabe is extremely knowledgeable about Ferraris and can tell you first hand about his personal experience with whatever car you eventually purchase. Nick can also be very helpful and let you know about part availability. They are a great bunch of people.

I don't have any personal experience with Auto Legend, but it really comes down to if you want your car serviced by an authorized dealer or by an independent.
