My F430 is due for annual fluid changes. Any advise in the bay area for a good independent technician or reliable dealer. I just called SF in Marin and they wanted $2400 for all fluids, which seems very high! I had it service in Newport Beach 2 years ago and it was $1500 for the same. Considering doing it myself for that price (I have a lift and work on my Porsches, but have not wrenched on this car yet). I am in Napa btw. Thanks for any input!

Not super close to Napa but I use Salerno Motorsports in Rocklin, Ca for things I can't or don't have time to DIY. Ben Salerno is a great, honest guy who is highly recommended on this board.

Exotic Auto Service in Sacramento. New division of FerrParts and the lead technician Phil is from Ferrari of SF.

They have hourly rates of $89/hour and also offer discounts on parts to their clients since they supply themselves. Depending on the job to be performed they offer free pick up and delivery within Northern California.

If interested in discussing with Russ shoot him an email and tell him Mike from Ferrari Club sent you his way [email protected]

Formal Grand Opening "FREE" BBQ Celebration of the new shop is May 27th from 10-2:00, FCA has it on our calendar and would be good opportunity to meet the staff.

    Regards,
    Mike

A lot depends where you are.

I've had good experiences with the following 3.

Roberto of Roselli auto repair in South bay
Johannes of Dino Motors on Peninsula
Tony of T&R Automotive in the city

    Even SVF was very helpful.

Thanks for all the responses! I scheduled with SF Motorsports for next week, they were very pleasant on the phone and geographically desirable. Will let you know how it goes.
