The car's RF cam seal was leaking cause the shop that did the 30K engine out service used the wrong seals and silicone. The lifters were all set wrong as well. Also, The rear wheels were on backward and I found out that the new P-Zero's appear to be 3 right side tires and one left? The dealer I bought it from is paying for all that work as the work was done less than 500 miles ago
The clutch. I was hopeful to just need the pressure plate but turns out that I need a whole new flywheel $5,000 as the dampner is leaking. Looks like my bill will be $10,000+ I am hopefull to re-coup 1/2 that from the dealership in No Cal I bought it from.
I also bought the rear wheel spacers for a wider rear track, drilled pedals, and chrome horses. I pray this is the last big bill for a while and that my car now will be ready to run.
Don't know what more I could have done as I purchased from a Ferrari dealer and said it was all updated and serviced??? Kind of B.S. salesmanship. Bummer as I was getting the Tubi. That will now have to wait I guess. Take care all hope to go driving with someone soon?

    Dude,
Sounds like they really F'd you over. Can you try to just take the car back to them and get your money back?? I really feel for you, it seems like every post there's more bad news from you. Again, I'm sorry you got so screwed by an F-dealer (by anyone for that matter). I hope everything works out for you and you don't have any more drama...

But I refuse to let it get me down. The dealer I bought it from is paying for everything except the clutch...I at least will have piece of mind now that it is dialed and ready to get the sh** driven out of it, cause it will! Got to pay to play I guess??

Wecome to NW form, I been here for a few years now, it is the best bunch of guy's and gals to hang out and drive with!! These cars can be a pain, but once you sort everything out, there is nothing like it!! My TR also had a few things to sort out, but it's fine now!!

You will now know your car in and out after this, and sound's like it will be just fine after they are done! Don't let it get you down, spring is close, and we all will be doing some fun run's. Look foward to seeing you car when it's up and running!! I am now putting a starter in my wifes Porsche Boxster, so I know how it is..
    Take Care..Robert

    Mike,
that's a great attitude. I have it with my boat, otherwise you just get so bummed... You're right, at least you'll know it's ready to go. I can't wait to see it out on a cruise.

Just got back from the dealer...The seals in the flywheel aren't just leaking but the flywheel is wasted too..They turned it and it still has hot spots all over. Oh well, at least I now know my car will be legit and ready to get the hell driven out of it. get her back Tuesday. Wheel spacers, drill pedals, new chrome horses, fresh detail, new cam seals, adjusted values, oil change, oil temp sensor, entire clutch, basically a whole new car.
Better be the last service for a while!

    Broke ass,

    Mike

"This too can all be yours for the low, low price of $10,000".......hahaha

Look forward to meeting and driving with all of you. Thanks for the support. I am gonna start a Mike Mansfield, my car is in the shop": fund!
