do you have to have oil changes and regular maintenance done at the dealer or will your warranty be voided?

we have a local shop that specializes in German cars. Had my new Tire Rack Mich Pilot Super Sports put on there. They did a great job.

so far the car has had no warranty work needed. 18k miles and 2.75 yrs old.

    Thanks

I don't think so, but make sure you have receipts. particularly oil changes showing Mobil1 0w40 went back in :)

You need to check that it does not get voided. In Europe you can take it to any shop and provided factory parts are used warranty remains valid. Goodwill gesture may be hard to come by though if you did that regularly.

The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act prohibits warranty forfeiture as a result of a non-dealer working on the car.
