I'm thinking about picking up a low-mile '94 Diablo. Where would I be able to get it serviced locally? I'm in SW WA - Vancouver Area.
A friend of mine in Portland, OR was the lead/factory trained tech and Lambo Northwest/Grand Prix Motors when it was around. He's ASE Master certified and Porsche Master certified, I've worked with him around many Ferraris and Lambo...he's very capable. He now works at a Porsche Specialty shop around Portland, if you want to know where and how to get in touch with him shoot me a PM.
I thought he was setting up a service department? http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=297200
If not Josh who is crazy good in Bellevue then Joe the lead factory trained mechanic for Lamborghini of Portland (before it closed) now works at www.speedsports.net. Matt Crandal who was the GM at PI/Lambo of Portland owns speed sports. www.rtgt.com can work on lambo's as well if not under warranty. Call and ask for Kelly Brown Good Luck
It's not up and running yet. I think he's looking for something in the near future. It takes a while to get a shop set up completely.
Joe left speedsports. He's now at an independent Porsche specialist shop, I don't remember the name right now.
LOL dont recall having any conversation with you in reagrds to my current and or future business operations..? We do currently provide limited service, and we will have a full service department up and running 100% by grand opening of approx June 2011.
I will talk to Kelley and Chris at RTGT. They (of course) service my Ferraris, but did not want to touch my Vanquish. They are good guys - if they can handle the Diablo, I would feel comfortable. I have a tentative deal on it pending PPI.
Just going by your updates here on this site. Can you tell us who your Techs are? Do have diagnostics and lifts installed yet? Just asking.............................................
I spoke to Chris - he said they could do most work on it, as long as no special tools are required. So, they can at least change the oil!
I took this picture at service just yesterday. The GT ran out of fuel right as Terry was pulling it into the parking lot. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very cool. I did speak wih Chris last week. I feel confident that they will be able to take care of me. I have a PPI scheduled for Wednesday down in Scottsdale.
