Just some weeks we could drive. Starting on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday...whatever you want - just a thought about the time. FOR SURE AND IF IT WORKS FOR YOU, YOU CAN VOTE FOR: a+b+c+d = all 4 dates!!!! a.) between: 18. - 24. July b.) between: 01. - 07. August c.) between: 08. - 14. August d.) between: 15. - 21. August
thanks to all of you! i'm not sure about ton though after all his nasty remarks about the green monster and the green trevi etc.
trevi, i will get you those mushy peas to match you monster during this trip, you can hold me to it. The culinary delights that await you are truly astounding.
Hi Gents, As much as I would like to, I am unfortunately unable to commit to dates in May, June, July or August. I will keep you posted as things develop. Cheers, MARK
Unfortunatly non of these dates are OK for me. I am on holiday from 18july-12august (slovenia & Italy) No way I get another week vacation from my Boss then. :
ok, and i promise, as i'm not the organizer in scotland, you'll have the official permit to overtake me...............if you can
Ciao everyone! Back on line after a couple of weeks... As far as I am concerned, the first date seems the best one. As stated in the other thread, I will do my best to be there even if I am not sure I will be able to make it (still unsure about where I will be by then...). Due to this, I do not believe it is correct for me to cast my vote in the poll. Ciao Eugenio
Hello, After a few weeks away from the forum ... For the time being, I don't have any preference. All proposed options suite me. I'll be tracking the evolution of the organisation of this event closely. Bye for now, Christophe.
Chaps, The week commencing 1-7 August 2005 seems to be the most popular choice, and there have been no further votes for a number of days. I propose that the Ferrarichat European Rallye - Scotland 2005 takes place from Wednesday 3rd August to Sunday 7th August 2005. Obviously people can join us on the Thursday, Friday or Saturday if they cannot make the whole thing. Does this sound sensible for the Euro mob travelling long distances or would the preference be to commence on Thursday 4th?
Marc Sounds good to me. Do you mean meet up wednesday night? If the other Euros are agreed we could meet on the tuesday night somewhere like north Germany/France/Belgium (depending how far some people are travelling) and then travel across on the ferry to scotland on wednesday. Hopefully arriving wednesday afternoon/early evening. Thanks for organising this.
Yes, to clarify, I was thinking a meeting time of early evening similar to Andermatt (even though some of us were a bit late!) So the UK guys can set off in the morning and comfortably do the journey in one day, and you guys could either travel through the night or do what Mark and I did this year and head off early hours to go straight through. Depends on your ferry scenario I suppose. I am looking in to the feasibility of hiring a car transporter for the brits/any of you who fancy a couple of days in London first.
