Guys, I now there is a procedure to manually set the PIS on a 355 but is there a way to do so on the 2001 360? I don't know if the car has the updated ECU/TCU. I have thoroughly search F-chat and was unable to find a thing.

I know that the 430's, 599's and 612's require the SD3 to do the PIS... I would imagine the same is required for the 360.

You need an SD2/3 or similar tool ($10K+) to set PIS correctly. Durametric is bringing out a tool this fall for a reasonable price that will set PIS. Do not let anyone tell you they can do it manually.
