    I have, in my 330 shop manual, the instructions for setting the floats on a DCI Weber. Are these the same as for a DCN on my Daytona? Same specs? thanx. s

    Weber two barrels are all similar for float level setting. There are two types of Webers for the Daytona 40 DCN 20 and 40 DCN 21

    X= distance from float bottom to carb lid without gasket float up
    y= " " " " " " " " " float down

    40DCN 20 X= 48mm Y=56.5mm
    40DCN 21 X= 50mm Y=58.5mm

    My Daytona has DCN 14's
    What would be the correct float setting for these webers? Were Daytona's delivered from the factory with DCN 14's?

    14s were never an oem fittment for 365gtb/4
    20s were sand cast-offered greatest tuning variables..
    21 were euro-quite rare actually
    21/a were later and USA in particular

    Thank you 335s, your comments are very welcome.
    I took the car on a 125 mile road Tour with 30 other Ferrari guys last Sat where we also hit some rain as well.
    After around 50 miles I noticed the car was running much better, not popping and with a very smooth idle. I am here to say that the Italian tune up is a real thing.

    Hi Steve- I noticed your name from BaT and had a question regarding another car that you had been familiar with. It is a 1972 Porsche 911e in Aubergine that was originally in Texas area a few years back. I am looking at the car now and wanted to check your memory as far as what you knew about the car and things that I should try and check out further. Thanks
