This has to be the sexiest Bugatti I've ever seen. It was low and mean and could roll down the road with the best of them. The body and chassis were customized in the 50's by I don't know whom. Maybe someone with more knowledge can chime in on the subject. I just loved this car.

Kind of funny considering most people will never see a real Bugatti in person. Amazing pics as always Ken.

As great as cars are these days, you'll never see craftsmanship like that these days.

I don't have alot of information about this car. I only heard fragments of its creation. I'm not sure what the starting point was, only that the finishing point was incredible. From what I understand, the Bugatti was hot rodded, chopped and channeled to be as low as possible.

I was really taken by this vehicle. I wish I had more information on it.

    regards

I dissagree, its still around. Thing is, its still just as rare today, as it was yesterday. The Bugatti's where very rare even when new. Now on engines, well, they are definitely more automated, but there still are cars being made by small shops with the same level of hand made detail. I've seen some drop dead gorgeous replica's, and artists own creations. Not often, rare, but things with the same artistic craftsmanship are still being made.

I understand what you're saying, and assumed someone would say it.

I know that craftsmanship like that is around still today. It just seems like the cars like classic Bugatti's and Dusi's just had something that is unexplainable by me. It's almost surreal and calming. I've never really been a fan of older cars, except for the two I've mentioned among a few others. Maybe another reason I just smile when I see them.

I'd love to see some examples you're talking about.

All of my pictures of it are before digital, but for starters, check out the replica Gee Bee R2 Delmar Benjamin built, they wouldn't allow any drawings or give any information, for fear they'd be sued if he chrashed. From old photographs, they built a darn good replica. I got to sit in it as a kid, and that plane(replica) has fascinated me ever since. There's also a guy with a flying Gee Bee Z thats pretty neat to.

Not too long ago, was a thread here with a Bugatti replica of very high quality.

The Pagani Zonda, when i saw it in person, its just wow! The level of detail, thought, and personal work that must go into building one is very very high. It just didn't seem stamped out of a machine, more like skillfull alien craftsman built it, and sent it to earth for us to enjoy.

These two TR replica's aren't that bad either.

WOW! That is definitely a well built car, with lots of detail. Thanks for sharing.

As far as the Zonda goes, I thought that car was just a given. I've loved it since I first viewed pics of it years ago. I will literally faint if I ever see one in real life.
