No but the leak pics talk about "SF90 LM" so that just my guess, of course i don't know the real name.
You're right that some are calling it SF90LM, I think it is a too easy assumption and not very probable. Also LMs I recall from Ferrari were true racing cars, so this would be a joke.
My dealer called me on Tuesday telling me that allocations went out, at least here in the US... Anyone hear this?
Many of the allocations went out weeks ago. It is possible that there are more with some dealers. Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Initial allocations went out but there will be more. Don't be surprised if this is another Pista-like situation. Dealers got lists of people who qualify. But were given only a fraction of the number of cars compared to names on the lists and then told there is a "strong possibility" of more.
I don't know but appears SF90 / VS hyper very limited new chapter - after top VIP's. Dealer allocations ... Classiche maintenance F1 Pilota Debut attendance ownership length / resale back thru dealer etc etc. Ones who Ticks the mo$t boxe$ receive limited editions - same as any brand. Ferrari dealers are 100% committed to Ferrari - Dealers want the customers 100% committed.
I don’t know if it’s just me but you write in a very unorthodox way. I can barely make out what you’re trying to say.
Is it known if allocations for the car are decided centrally by the factory as with the LaF/SP cars or if each dealer is given a number of cars and then chooses themselves which clients to allocate to.
Heard it a few times. Bid and won at auction - bespoke Clark Gable Jaguar... frankly my dear I don't give a damn.
Not 100% sure but dealer has little to say about who gets what when it comes to limited edition. They can recommend such and such clients to Ferrai but that is it, I heard. Like my case with 2nd 296gtb for me to take from dealership floor, they have to go through GM from Ferrari to get an approval and GM said no so I didn’t get the car from the showroom. This kinda control over who gets what happens at Ferrari level not dealer level. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Easiest answer is a combination of both. Some buyers are "automatically" given cars by the factory, some aren't counted against the dealers allocations, and then some the dealer has input in who gets it, the dealers can make the case for certain clients.
I don’t think it will be like the Pista at all, it will be a numbered car and it is a $120,000 non refundable deposit sent to Ferrari in Italy via the dealer with an 18 month ROFR. Looking forward to attending the debut in Italy on the 26th Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Not correct. No downpayment of 120 K needed and it is not non-refundable. Your dealer doesn't tell the truth. Marcel Massini
Marcel you’re talking about a different market. With FNA this is the story of $120K directly to FNA. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Not sure about other states but in California all deposits are refundable by law for any reason or no reason.
i also heard 120k, non refundable to italy with rofr. i do get to go to maranello june 26, but idk on car allocation (many sad faces etc.)
Refundable or non-refundable that’s subjective where you live. If one gets an allocation would they want it refunded? That would be the question. If they do and pull the plug then Ferrari may be forced or directed by the federal or state law but after that good bye to any future allocations for that individual. Plus Ferrari vets their clients out very well who is able to get the car and keep it vs someone struggling for the deposit. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
