Ferrari has become very particular about any modification to their cars even when they are working with you on your build specification! Mechanical modification are a step beyond what Ferrari typically wants to allow the customer to do. The Ferrari attitude is the car is already perfect. Beyond any technical challenges with a modification, the reality is you may lose your manufacturer warranty. The aftermarket would be a better place to ask about turbo issues once the warranty has expired.

To each their own, thats why I prefaced my comment with “IMHO”. I wasn’t aware Ferrari ownership (limited or otherwise) was a prerequisite to providing an opinion on spec.
Not quite side by side but there is this example wearing Rosso Scuderia > Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thank you for posting these pics for comparison. It appears that Rosso Le Mans may be a little more orange than Rosso Scuderia? Or that could be an artifact of the photos?
Having seen Rosso Scuderia in person earlier this month I would describe it as Rosso Corsa with more of a warm orange tone to the color. The color was also consistent. By comparison the the Rosso LeMans from photographs seems more towards red but turns orange depending on the lighting. More typical of many modern Ferrari paint colors that exhibit a range of colors depending on the light source! One other observation, seeing circa 2006 Rosso Corsa it looked more appealing than the current red on say an F8 even though it is still called Rosso Corsa.
A view of the Rosso LeMans in natural light at the factory shows the paint color as predominantly red > Image Unavailable, Please Login

Always nice when painted shields are chosen. [SP3 in this example.] Image Unavailable, Please Login What the other enamel version looks like > Image Unavailable, Please Login Note the different location...
Not ideal spot , mirror blocking that beautifully painted shield….looks much better on the fenders Image Unavailable, Please Login
I don’t believe the designers had any choice but to move it to the door for the XX as the fender vents don’t give enough room for the painted shield to be placed on the fender without looking awkward. It’s a matter of personal taste but I love the painted shield placement on the XX. It’ll be my first car with painted shields and I may end up getting painted shields on the Purosangue as well.
You are correct they had no choice,,, don’t hesitate they are beautiful painted I dint do them on my SF90 felt fenders we’re not big enough like my 812
It was noted in the past that there were two different sizes for the painted shields. Each shield takes EIGHT HOURS to complete.
