I went no shields, much cleaner, once I added the number the space became too cluttered. Having said that I prefer the shield over painting because the shield has the 3D element to it, stands out a bit more the painted one looks flat from certain angles and it’s too big.
I like them but went simple white, carbon and splashes of yellow stand out. I start with the must haves then make choices around them - consistent flow in hopes it works. Those orange lenses are painful - detailer will put a black tint over them. Image Unavailable, Please Login
My first initial impressions about the SF90XX after driving this morning about 50 miles in. - right off the bat on cold start it’s louder than than the regular version. - cabin seem to have more engine noise coming thru - ride is very complaint on uneven roads and bumps even some minor potholes. - in sport mode it’s like driving a gt car - in race mode something more happens with suspension, shifts and engine response compared to regular sf90 - driver side mirror still vibrates and distorts like any other mid-engine Ferraris - steering response is excellent and feedback seems to be more direct - car definitely sits lower then the regular sf90 - acceleration is brutal and the loud noise in the cabin exaggerates it even more - brake seemed great but a bit soft maybe needs some break in. Same can be said for the engine - didn’t really notice the boost feature but I guess that’s something where one can experience it on the track. Overall initial impressions has been great and very positive - feeling is very “raw” compared to the regular sf90. Looking to put in more miles to know more about this car and its characteristics. Thanks for posting maybe the first SF90 vs SF90 XX impressions online. Has the exhaust note changed at all? I know you mentioned it was louder, but at the launch it sounded fairly different to the regular SF90 (somehow more NA-like). Have you noticed any differences in shifting? They allegedly ported some learnings from the SP3 over to the XX. It also apparently results in a different sound profile while shifting. Does the steering feel heavier than the regular SF90 or similarly weighted but just more direct? Are there any new electronic nannies that you have to deal with before driving off? I believe a bunch of new features are standard for the EU markets but I don't know how the default behavior has changed (if at all) for the US. Keep the impressions coming! I think my car is slated for the next production slot, I'm supposed to receive it sometime early next year.
any pix of silver with orange accents? black interior with orange stitching is very cool. what is the price difference between the big vs small painted shields? what size shield is used on the F1 racecar?(btw, racecar is spelled the same way backwards)
Ferrari carbon shield never really took off - with carbon skirts on 16M and Speciale I tried them on my 16M. They should look good with carbon wheels. Image Unavailable, Please Login
First all, I did just a few miles so nothing major and will do more in time. So my first impressions may not be a complete and accurate one. The immediate thing was the exhaust, the suspension and ofcourse the shifter. It’s way more aggressively tuned in my opinion. I’m not a race driver so for someone like me to feel it means that they’ve sprinkled some good stuff in the XX. Its shines in cornering like it’s on rails but then again even the regular sf90 is awesome. I haven’t really paid attention to the shifts being any faster but again if it’s fractions of a second I may not be able to tell. But overall impressions of the car it’s very nimble yet very compliant and comfortable. The sound system is not all that so don’t expect much there. Due to lack of carpeting the bass distorts at high volumes. Other than that I love the ride and the nimbleness. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat

Looks like Azzurro Dino in post 2712 Another friend recently got his XX and he had a brief drive and he said much the same things as @phanliu above- that the car feels more focused and more alive , and he cant wait to drive it more. One day I will add some comments here.
It is Azzurro Dino and actually the original owner just flipped the car, you can see some pictures at Ferrari Belfast instagram page
I'm not sure, but the car is currently in Birmingham and all my Belfast car spotters said that guy shouldn't have a Belfast slot.
Looks like someone isn’t getting a birthday card from Ferrari anymore. I’m curious how much over sticker the car went for? Is it possible it was the allocation that was really sold and not the actual car?
Not mine, but love this spec. Anyone know the colour? Grigio competizione? Source: https://www.instagram.com/p/C-x0d7qKskM/ Image Unavailable, Please Login
