Just posted two examples and ordered one, dealer demanded FROR on 599GTO included the option. passed due to FROR. The firms records - seriously? F80 is not more track focussed than the LaF? SF90 faster 4 years later than LaF. 599GTO faster 5 years later than Enzo 2030 Ferrari will have something faster - Mac Porsche Ferrari it's how they sell cars. F80 1184hp is less than Mac's W1 1258 hp and Porsche is up next.
the crazy thing is how this also translates to track performance too, the idea of just the base ferrari sportscar being faster round track than the F80 seems absurd but it'll happen as the cycle always repeats!
The uptick in performance is mainly down to new tyres. Put on the LaFerrari today's Cup 2 Rs and it will be quicker than the SF90. The F80 is next level, not only in terms of powertrain, but also suspension, brakes, electronics and aero. It will be several years till a series Ferrari surpasses its performance, as was also the case with previous Ferrari hypercars. Regarding the W1, we won't know until they are independently tested. There is nothing new from Porsche on the horizon.
