varryx_ has uploaded leaked photos of a Red and a Blue Vs from the presentation on instagram. https://www.instagram.com/p/CuAggOnqP89/
I signed to the document saying no deposit back for any reason at all. Maybe it differs country to country. This car is reality for me from the moment I wired my deposit. It doesn’t matter I like it or not. Too bad I am not that much excited about the car. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
If there was a wingless version it would be a WIN (over the standard car). Some major flaws imo with the SF90 were improved, such as the taillights. However, F12 TDF cutouts above rear wheels and the obvious 812Competizione rear copy/paste tells me guys at Ferrari got really lazy on this one. I dont buy into the track car for the road hype with this one.
Interesting, here is a solution for you sir. I will wire you the exact sum of money you already paid for the deposit, to an offshore account of your liking. There is your refund, that easy. All you have to do afterwards is hand me your allocation slot.
Have you seen it in real life? if you have wait until you drive it. I have made the same mistake with the Senna, I was offered one but made my mind up based on the photos I saw online and in those photos it looked terrible (still does LOL), when I saw the car IRL it was the biggest regret of my car purchasing life, I thought it looked incredible, I gave up now but for a while I was chasing few owners to sell me their cars at a premium none were interested in selling. Never again will I ever judge a book by its cover.
In generic terms not having to do with this car, I will say that I have never seen a car that I really disliked in pictures and then all of a sudden really liked in person. I can move from "ok" to "great" based on the viewing angles, reflections, and real-life stereo visual perspectives. But never moved from "really dislike" to "great."
Your ability to judge things from photos might be greater than other's which is fantastic for you. In my business I see it all the time, we provide 3D renderings to customers, fly through videos etc. and when they see the product in real life their reactions are completely different. I have dealt with so many people regretting their decisions once they see the product in real life and they missed on it, happens very regularly. Now my policy is that there is no marketing done until the developments are near completion or completed I only do renders for myself, having said that 70% of my business is repeat customers, those ones already know what they are getting or what they could potentially miss on.
It would have to be redesigned from an aerodynamics point of view because the wing was in balance with all the other updated/new aerodynamics components.
You have an excellent point about photos (including 3D) and myself. Which I didn't even think about. What makes sense is that I was part of the Silicon Graphics team that developed and built the first true 3D graphics pipeline home video game system, the ,Nintendo 64, and before that I was in computer graphics hardware and system software for several years. Can't believe that was ~30 year's ago. Back then I was still driving around in my sometimes on-fire 1962 Ford Thunderbird. I will never forget being screamed at in a Stanford University parking lot with my radiator fluid on fire. A woman drove up to me, got out, and started screaming at me. This is while the car was on fire in the engine bay with a huge smoke plume upwards. She kept yelling , “You are that kind of car person that ruins the environment with all of your car exhaust like that.” And I mean screaming! I yelled back several times saying the car was on fire, but she didn't even hear me. Lol.
I bet that wing comes off with a couple of bolts. Then add some Bumper Plugs to plug the holes on your million dollar supercar. Problem solved!
Reasonable, they kept blown spoiler function to choose when powering up the wing and rear spoiler, or when reducing drag in the spoiler area
3D gaming yes... I spent about 12 years owning or running Arcade businesses focusing on repairing and restoring arcade machines we even designing and building new cabinets. I remember one of Sega's early 3D games/arcade system, Virtual On: Cyber Troopers which ran off the Sega Model 2B board sets. those were the days. Funny how people haven't change, so many just don't listen.
Haha love the story. I have pretty good imagination/vision myself, I am in large scale commercial and industrial developments and I have to be able to visualize how an industrial estate would look literally in the middle of the bush. Those who lack vision seem to miss out most of the time, IMO being able to visualise is a huge advantage, whoever comes later either misses out or pays more LOL My other go to thing is, I do not buy anything unless I go onsite to get a "feel" of the place and the surroundings, if it feels right I go for it if not I don't because usually metrics come second to that haha
