Don’t know why people doubt him.. he has excellent information even with cars he doesn’t feel for..

 

That's a 0.25s reduction in laptime on Fiorano when in boost mode not the lap time and that 0.025 will be different on different tracks

 

The way I understand this is that the boost alone reduced the lap time by 0.25'', not that overall lap time reduction is by that amount of time.

 

Looks stunning! Need to understand how much more downforce compared to sf90 af, lap time at fiorano and othe tech details…does it rev hogher? the weight difference is 10kg as reported.
In the video seemed like it had a higher pitch and louder than sf90…

Was told 799 Coupe and 399 Spider in February, then later 699 Coupe 499 Spider as more vip take up of Spiders.. but now it’s 799 Coupe 599 Spider, and the price has come down. So clearly this delay after delay reveal was down to a lot of going on behind the back on cost and numbers… but 10kg less than Assetto Fiorano and only 30hp more, give me a break, never had so much inaccurate info out of factory on any VS car.. Numbers I was told was minimum 50kg less than Assetto Fiorano and 70hp/ps more..

 

-10kg + 30hp. Can't believe it

 

Plus I am half way on my own personal 10kg drop...so it adds up.

Id simply take a standard SF90 and add the full Novitec kit.

It’s too bad the fixed wing is so grotesque, otherwise it would look fairly sharp IMO. Here is Argento Nurburgring, not so bad when it’s not all done up in excessive colours and liveries.

Those CGI images do not come close to the real thing

 

That's not the point...

 

When the 458 Speciale, F12 TDF, even 812 Competizione CGI images were released I thought those cars looked absolutely stunning. My friend, this has nothing to do with CGI, this is about design. And that wing just isn’t for me.

 

looks great and i'm sure it'll be great to drive, slightly disapointed about the weight reduction and the fiorano lap being the same as a 458 challenge though

 

For one lap... before the energy store is depleted and the tires are toast. Last time I looked, most folk like the track their cars for multiple laps over the course of an entire day. That just won't be possible with this thing unless you bring a truck load of spare tires and a fast charger... As I said, a bit pointless in the real world. Great for marketing and supercar top trumps.

But we don't even know the Fiorano lap time and the slicks of the Challenge car give it a few seconds anyway.

 

Even the regular SF90 is able to turn multiple laps on track, before depleting the battery, which only needs half a lap to recharge.

 

No, this is not about Design. I know the design field well, as I hold a Masters in it. This is nothing more than personal preference and you know what that is perfectly ok too. btw I agree on the other models CGI images. But these CGI one are really bad. Real photo vs GGI image looks very different on this model.
