Are we talking about a version of the SF90 like the Stradale\Scuderia\Pista or something else?

Starting to really enjoy the looks of this car. The best feature of the TDF is the vents over the rear wheels. Always remember Kimi giving it some in a TDF and a plume of vertical tyre smoke coming through those vents. Beyond cool!

There’s quite a lot of change in this car. The front mouth area is nicer and loads more aggressive, the rear is full of muscle and aggression and features a light bar in the same way as the 499P and SP1/2, and the sides are much more sculpted.

As an owner of both who has tracked both, no. The SF90 is entirely different than the Senna on track in a bad way.

You should try the track. I went from never having tracked at 55 years old to 100 days a year at 62.

Can you explain more? I’ve driven both cars on fast roads, SF90 better IMO. I drove the SF90 on track and found that the things I might have thought were problems didn’t seem to be - brakes were good, even at repeated hard braking zones such as the end of Hangar and Wellington at Silverstone. The braking was powerful and progressive and the brakes got bedded in really well and felt much better on the road after. The weight didn’t seem to be too much of an issue though you can definitely feel it more than on the road, the quid pro quo being the instant response from the hybrid powertrain which is fantastic. The biggest problem was that there is so much power, you really have to completely relearn the track which made me a bit ragged for the first few sessions. I haven’t driven our Senna on track yet but fully expect it to be fantastic too, more aero, less weight and all you expect from that. Just neither of them as fantastic as something like a 458 or 488 Challenge. So I’m not sure viewing either the SF90 XX or Senna as comparable to track cars will be accurate, to my original point. They seem to be in the same space - £750k, very quick on track, but coming from different philosophies. No doubt, SF90 feels like it has too much power for a track day (always hitting traffic and disturbing the flow) and Senna with less power, less weight, more aero, should be more like what you would expect from a hyper track car. Still have the problem with traffic though!

The XX seems to try and offer a mix of both, much more aero, instant and massive hybrid power, better braking to cope with extra weight and the extra downforce. I think they will make an interesting pairing, weight being the key (and obviously important) difference. Can the XX overcome its weight penalty to become a brilliant track tool?

Has anyone seen a sample of the new Rosso Le Mans color (not the matte one).
Is it IRL like Rosso Scuderia, or Rosso Dino? Or would it be a "middle ground" between these two?

The weight is the huge issue. Braking feels like you might as well throw hundred pound notes out the window as you slow the car. It just made no sense to me to abuse a road car that was so heavy on the track. Hangar is a high speed right, but if you are at Monza, you must come to a near stop after 300km/hr on the straight and your brakes just cook. It’s like tracking the Chiron: senseless.

Full disclosure I owned the Senna street car a short period of time. Liked it but was offered more than I could refuse for the car. Have extensively tracked my Senna GTR. It is street car like in its rudimentary car controls. Literally only wet, race, track settings. The front tires are too thin. But it is a very easy to drive track car.

The negative answer was provided by the factory... it's too heavy, too much...

It must be a beautiful red then. Excellent choice not only for the XX, but even for the future F167. I believe it will be Atelier.
    Thanks for the answer.

I remember my Roma having bumpy road setting but it was not noted on the wheel, you had to push the manatino down and then it activated. Again its been a while (since the Roma) so not sure if it was shown on the wheel or not. I for one would love a bumpy road mode in my AF SF90 it’s brutal on downtown streets.

The standard (non AF) SF 90 suspension is a dream in bumpy road mode on just about any road. The suspension in fast sweepers on on ramps seem to be pretty good, but I’m not sure what the car would feel like at the track, it may be too soft.

You see the bumpy road icon on the manettino in the SF90 XX configurator, but you don't see it in any of the demo cars from the anteprima. I'm assuming the configurator is just a mistake and there's no bumpy road setting on the XX.

It was bad enough people wanting bumpy rode mode in the AF version of SF90 but now they want it in the XX version… c’mon.. this is getting ridiculous, no Ferrari or Lamborghini should have bumpy road mode imho.. want bumpy road mode buy the SF90 Stradale/street version, want to feel like you are in a Ferrari buy AF version or XX.. if XX has catered for a bumpy mode, well jeez, Ferrari are losing it.. just for disclosure I’m 58, previous owner of 964 RS 993 RS Challenge Stradale Scud, various 991 GT3 RS, all with the firmest seat options, just completed yesterday an 7 hr trip in Abarth 695 with Sabelt Carbon Seats, yes, I’m looking forward to a massage but that’s how I want these cars to make me feel. If I want bumpy road mode in a fast car will take a E63S or M5 for a trip.. seriously Ferrari bumpy road mode in an XX??
