I read @day355's posts as a valuable input to discussion on Ferrari new models.
And your opinion, sir, is ... your opinion. Let me leave it that way

Thank you for the acknowledgement. I recognize that engaging someone and then being unable to answer questions takes both skill and discipline.

As for the XX, like it or not it exists. Perhaps it’s lost on the detractors that Ferrari is forced to transition in the era of electrification. So, this storied program was destined to change. Personally, I’ve enjoyed owning and living with the SF90…and look forward to receiving my XX. Call me crazy, but I actually form opinions based on personal experiences and not what I’ve read about someone else’s opinion about a car they’ve not driven or will ever own.

I haven't been on this board for a while. When did you find out you're getting the XX? I was told last month and had to put a deposit down on the day they called me. The XX is the reason I'm back on the board :)

What's all that to do with day355's post you couldn't comprehend and tried to loop your question again and again?
(I, by the way, explained that SF90 XX STRADALE is not an XX, and that is a win-win for Ferrari and clients who always wanted some of XX car "for the road".)

Please try to read other users' posts carefully and do some mind exercises on your own before jumping to your projected conclusions.

PS. Actually, I like the XX Stradale more than original SF90, so again your wrong assumption (or attitude towards some users)

    Ciao!

I have not read that they are doing a whole new program with the SF90XX Stradale- the only thing I have read so far is a statement somewhere that Ferrari says the car is not eligible for the current XX events- which makes sense, as those are truly tracked prepped cars, and this is not.

My hope is they will have some kind of program for the fortunate owners of these fine machines.

Let’s see genius, you chose to engage me with post #2148. I’ve asked repeatedly what the inane blather has to do with the XX and you can’t seem to come up with anything other than petting Day355. I have my guesses, but I’m not sure why this is so triggering to either one of you, since you don’t own SF90’s and weren’t selected for an XX. Moreover, I’m struck by why it’s so challenging for the two of you to accept that those loyal to the brand and to the SF90, would chose to buy this limited series Ferrari when offered. What hill are you trying to die on here, because it’s not working lol?!

Do we have the right to talk about the XX or do we have to ask your opinion first ? Or did you see that they don't want you to buy an XX ??? Personally, you can buy one of each color if you want, it won't change anything in my life... On the other hand, the rezspect of differing opinions is a basis for me, or do you prefer a sectarian and unilateral autochratic side ?
Talk about your vision of the car rather than focusing on me...no ?

You have the same rights as I do, to inquire about what your comparisons and assertions have to do with the SF90 XX. THE reason this is about you, is because I’m responding to your post…in the EXACT same way you elected to respond to the conversation.

Thankfully you’ve declared for us that the XX isn’t a GT2/GT3 car. As a future owner, I’m grateful because I’d incorrectly assumed this to be a full fledged race car. I guess I’ll be relegated to a couple cigar smoking laps with other XX owners who were duped. Although, that’s probably what I would’ve done anyway, because I don’t have the time or inclination to regularly race cars with a young family…

i'm not sure what's so controversial about day355 explaining the history of how the sf90xx came to be the first road legal xx car ? if it wasn't fast enough in testing to be a fully fledged xx track car then so what? will that really detract from your driving experience of it?

Agree you aren't sure - so let's go with what we do know.
At Purosangue debut in Tuscany, Ferrari explained in depth how the R&D evolved.
XX debut, maybe another owner will post the R&D at XX unveiling.
    Let's move on - please.

No U.S. deliveries yet. But, I’ve heard most on Mars have been delivered. Check back frequently, as reviews should emerge any day.

Seriously, spec session is expected in Dec but no calls from the dealer.

Mars deliveries apparently delayed due to solar flares - however , The James Webb Telescope has spotted 2 Unidentified Objects that are heading towards earth - super hot , super sexy and the latest Infra-Red cameras show intense Battery and Combustion heat , amazing aero and a retractable top on 1 of them !! :) Having seen online some cars being tested I’d be surprised if the 1st coupes didn’t hit Monaco by Jan…… Hope so …

If you have to ask :)
Ferrari's vision - sounds acts looks like XX & smashed record, faster than prior track XX with track "set up".
We know it's faster than prior XX track cars - they watered it down and it's street legal.
Feel free to post - we are all excited to drive the first road legal XX. I think and hope there is a lot more news coming.

Where do you think the prices will settle, when people start selling the XX?

    .... starting at $1.5MM ?

I probably wouldn't buy with the hopes of just making money as we don't know where the economy will stand a year or two from now. The early 812 comp guys made a lot of money but don't know if that holds true for the xx. I think spec, msrp, all that will play into it but I assume most xx msrp's will be 1 million plus...

In its favor, it benefits from the XX program heritage and being the first road legal version. It’s the fastest road car they’ve made in their history. Plus, production volume is less than the 812 Comp.

On the other hand, it’s a V8 hybrid, which isn’t as desirable as a NA V12. While I really like it, the styling is controversial.

I think in the coming handful of years, the XX will fair better than the Pista, but not as well as the 812 Comp. However, further down the road, it has a good chance to become more valuable as folks seek limited ICE cars in favor of soulless EV’s.

Ferrari has a giant hill to climb with transitioning away from petrol engines, which has been the emotional connection to the brand. In the same way collectors are pouncing on Bugatti’s as the direction heads toward EV’s, I think any limited VS (ICE or hybrid) Ferrari will do increasingly well…until gas stations are banned altogether. At that point I hope to be either dead or among the beautiful people living on Mars, commuting via teleportation using an iPhone app.

... perhaps with all the infighting in Europe and talk of the 'European Union' collapsing, they will focus more on rebuilding their own countries, after the huge 'migrant assimilation failure' and less on trying to force us into worthless EV's!
