Our company is moving offices shortly and unfortunately there is no parking structure as part of the bldg or deal with our new office location (broadway & front). Looking into this further for at least a few spaces for our sales folks looks like parking is at a ridiculous premium (and a two year waiting list for most garages) in that area unless you want to subject your car to the 3 or 4 valet day lots where you toss them your keys (no way!).

Now i'm not that familiar with city parking since i live in the southbay and have become used to garage parking at my current office location on francisco st.

Any thoughts on garages to look into, or contacts who can help. Also tried craigslist but i was surprised to only find a handful of listings for spaces for rent that weren't really nearby.

    thanks

There are a couple of lots down on the Embarcadero that allow you to park and lock. If you want a nice covered garage, I would recommend doing some legwork and negotiate spaces with some private owners. You might try putting an ad on Craigslist to rent someone's residential garage by day while they are at work??

thanks for the tips...i have already been working craigslist a bit am exploring some other angles with friends who live in the area. Spoken to a few guys at the garages nearby who can make deals but i'm not interested in paying more for monthly parking than my m3 payment being that ill be traveling a good part of the month anyways :)
