Maybe because up here we prefer to drive them and not stand around and talk about it.

1 or 2 Ferraris is a good time.

    10 Ferraris is a cluster ****

One more thing about SF (since the poster was comparing SF to LA)......

The parking sucks. In addition to that, in some places, it will almost certainly be keyed or spit on if you were to leave it unattended for a few hours. Almost 100% guaranteed.

Driving in the city is possibly worse than parking. Traffic, uphills, places to bottom out the car.

There are not many places where you could even meet up and "park" in the city before a drive. Just isn't room anywhere for a group of cars to meet other than at the dealership (which we have done).

They want $50 in advance, and it looks to me like there may be 20-30 cars there, many of which have already been shown elsewhere. Advise you save your $$ for Monterey.

On the other hand, at these kinds of numbers, this is guaranteed to be the only year the show will be held, so perhaps there is value saying that "you were there". LOL.

I don't drive 50 miles for a cup of coffee. SR and Dublin are too far for me on a Saturday morning. I regularly drive to both at stupid hours for business, so I find no pleasure in driving there on weekends. Anybody wants to drive the back roads of Marin/Sonoma, I'm in. Say the word. I know some great trails.

Any Marin drivers want to do an early Sunday morning run through Lucas Valley out to Pt. Reyes Station? Or suggest another route?
