SF90 door won't open or close

I went to close the door of the SF 90, and to avoid slamming it too hard, I used the handle gently as a "lever". As a result, the door remained ajar and did not close. I pulled it again to close it, and when I slammed it, it ended up stuck partially open (unable to open or close, even when locking and unlocking the car with the key).

Was this due to the way I closed the door, or was there some kind of defect in the car? How can I resolve this safely?

This does sound like it may be to do with the way the door was closed, however the e-latch can fail so if this issue isn't sorted already one thing to check is if it says e-latch fail on the dash then one thing to possibly try may be a battery disconnect.
