Amen
So, this thread is about resale value. And you try to turn it into an argument about electric vehicles and insult everyone that enjoys the hybrid performance. Furthermore, you continue to be extremely disrespectful to anyone who does not 100% share your POV. Which makes you come across in a certain way. Puts a little more color on another thread. Did I offend you? lol Yes. EV is lame. That's my opinion and many others. Don't get your titties twisted.
Nope didn’t offend me at all. I have no EV or Hybrid in my stable. Just making observations. Which you just validated. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Yes, we are in agreement that you are delicate and easily triggered by any discussion regarding hybrids. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Throughout history, numerous unsightly "standard and common" words have been employed as insults. Nevertheless, as humanity evolves, it is essential for you to follow suit and also move beyond such language.
If you want to know what Eric C really does on Ferrarichat, you will see the majority of his post activity doesn't have much to do with cars let alone Ferrari. The below is just a short snapshot. He just needs a lot of attention. Not worth the time, so time to ignore. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Uh.. well…. To be fair, I may post mostly on non-car threads. I do try to stay out of P&R! But I do read quite a bit of car posts! Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Anyone wanna talk resale? Seriously………… Days on market are high and the premium is gone in the US. Seems like a lot if cars in the market pushing for all the money AND I don’t think there are the number of customers to support this niche as a NON Limited price point. Thoughts from owners/buyers? No I am not about resale- I buy and drive my cars. Just want to have a window on ultimate cost.
It’s worse than other models. It’s the best value used Ferrari IMO. I think it will have its day because supply is much lower than for other models. Most Speciales are currently similar price to SF90 - a £250k car v a £500k car. We own and love both but the SF90 drives better, though Speciale certainly deserves its strength in the used market because it looks good, is pretty raw and has a n/a engine. You could argue that SF90 is the new Testarossa in terms of used values but even those have become better in the last five years. In 2023 I would much rather be taking an SF90 on a decent road trip than a Speciale. So why is it so weak in the UK? I think much has to do with early press reviews. These are confusing. But if you do your research, there are plenty of reviewers who have either come to understand it or approached the car as they find. Many early reviews were objecting to hybrid as a genre and repeated what they had read elsewhere or heard at press events. In the future, when the car is no longer current, reviews will focus on what a good car it is to own as an exotic. If you can get into one at £350k in the UK, I don’t know what else you could get with that capability, modernity and price.
It’s crazy how much higher the resale market is in the US vs the UK. Many of the SF90 Stradales are $100K over MSRP and the spiders are even higher.
But are they selling at those prices? I’m seeing a few listed closer to MSRP. Still over but not as extreme as before. They seem to be moving slowly. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Advertised but not selling. Days on market are high. I have been offered several privately at well under but I am going through dealer for a sub 500 mile car well appointed but not crazy for MSRP. I have a feeling that the below MSRP is coming rapidly and the market cannot hold on these. Spiders ? Yes trading for 100K above right now. Advertised for 200K but not moving. My perspective. US based and with good sources.
US prices for the coupe are trending down but still very high is some cases. NJ dealer has a used model with original price of $572k listed for $689k. But inventory is down a bit recently. 83 cars today down from 90+ cars over the last 60 days. I plan to buy one so I've been checking daily. I will say when a nicely optioned version is priced fairly it does sell reasonably quickly (couple weeks).
Here you go. Listed for less than MSRP 22 with 1400 miles. Nice spec including livery.
