Does the SF90 sound like the 488? Since they are both V8 twin turbo? Or have they reduced the noise ? Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
The SF90 is a GPF car, the 488 is not. However, I'm told that it will be louder than the F8. To be precise, what I was told was that it will feature the cat and GPF, but when the valves are open, there will not be any additional attenuation. From what I understand, the F8 is different. When the valves are closed, all sound goes through the mufflers. When the valves are open, some of the gasses flow through the muffler and some exit straight out the back. This means that an F8 will have some attenuation with the valves open, but the SF90 will be free flowing, sans the filters of course.
