To my eyes, the yellow calipers are over powering, I would go black gloss calipers to emphasize the wheel design of the Diamond Cut Wheels.
Can someone tell me if ordering AF package for the Spider, is it possible to order carbon fiber door panels? Also what is the difference between AF package and AF extended? Thanks.
Does anyone have any pictures of the following carbon options so I can see what they look like please:- MNFC Carbon Fibre Engine Manifold CERB Carbon Fibre Rear Boot Trim CEL2 Engine Covers in Carbon Fibre my current spec has £85k of options , does that seem about right for what you guys have ordered
I understand, but my point was that with this unique wheel design with the aero dynamic winglets on them, you don’t want to see the calipers. Normally I would have a colored caliper and bring that into the stitching interior, but not with this SF90 Diamond Cut Wheel. Have you seen a car on the road with black caliper and Diamond cut wheel? If you have, carry on, but if not have a look at my photos in SF90 incoming thread.
when I looked at these 3 options, bear in mind the engine sits so low on this car, you don’t really see it. On other cars I love the Engine Covers in Carbon Fibre, but with SF90 it’s kind of pointless, the effect is just not there for the investment. Also the rear boot trim is a very small piece..
Says you are based in London, if you have time maybe go and check out HR OWEN SF90 AF demo that is for sale, and see the engine bay set up, and how it sits. I think that car was decked out in all the options except those parts you listed, which might be telling. Anyway exciting times for you..
Thanks, I did share a pic a few months back , I drove the grey HRO demo but it’s a coupe and has the AF of course plus I wasn’t sure how different it would look in a different colour with these options

I agree, not only does it sit so low, but its is painted red as standard which makes it more visible than carbon fiber when you see how low the engine is mounted. The engine compartment “engine covers” is a nice option. There is a lot of matte black plastic in the engine bay that is quite visible through the transparent engine glass since the engine sits so low. Comparatively, in a 458, the larger displacement NA motor took up more room in the engine compartment, you did not see as much of the surrounding plastic. Since the 488 and certainly on the SF90 you have a lot of visible plastic in the engine compartment that the CF is a nice option. I’m did it on my SF90 Coupe and will also do it on my Spider. The boot trim piece is confusing - it may be the gloss black circle holed vented piece surrounding the glass bonnet. I’m yet to see a car wit that piece.
Agreed. Yellow calipers are an absolute no-go for me. Way overdone and just an eye sore on most specs. But to each their own of course.
My U.K. order was originally meant to arrive July 2021 but now have a confirmed date of April 21, they must be speeding up production
