On the 2018 capital market days presentation (page 32) it said that there were going to be 15 new launches between 2019 and 2022. I don’t think this includes the Monza SP1/SP2.
But they said it “feels 200kg lighter” to the driver based on the advanced engineering design[emoji51]

Agreed, and nice that they kept the view of the V8 with this rendition. Just a bit crazy to me they are launching the spider with SF90 coupe deliveries barely even starting for most owners...
Love the black on gold. Some black stripes and you have: 2017 Porsche 911 Turbo S Exclusive Series Image Unavailable, Please Login .
i didnt see anything about the blue one in the intro video. is it the 'sport' version of the spider like the gray one with stripe was for the coupe? its looks fantastic
its pretty cool but to call it 'beyond imagination' is pretty ironic since everyone expected a spider version to be next. would be like mclaren calling another variant of the cf tub v8tt, 'unimaginable'

She's gorgeous! I especially love how they kept the open engine bay with the top down. Does the pre-filtered cabin engine noise feature solve the GPF sound issue? Will there any regrets from coupe owners who didn't wait for this arguably more stunning design and new features? I'm more than a little jealous of anyone blessed enough to add one to their garage. Congrats in advance to anyone here that does.
There are no new features with the spider as far as I know. The pre-filtered cabin noise does solve the GPF sound issue for inside the cabin but definetely not outside. Its on the Roma as well.
Interested to hear more about this new exhaust system. It looks fantastic, both in gold and the blue AF spec.
Voice control in the cabin uses the hot word “Ciao Ferrari” I like that. The hot tube/sound generator/resonator from engine to cabin has been in use since at least TDF. Interestingly, I can’t recall it ever being promoted at all, certainly not in a release presentation. I guess they’re trying to get ahead of the common criticism against the newer engines. Presentation really emphasizes the amazing amount of power which is managed by the car to save the driver from themselves. Interesting advertising philosophy. I like the launch color. I am guessing a triple layer. Nice to see a range of not-red launch colors. Can’t wait to see the green one… I’m not in the market for one but I think it’s a pretty impressive bit of kit. I think it does demonstrate the company’s ability to evolve with these new technologies, even if I’m not a fan of them personally. Image Unavailable, Please Login
One of the new features I was referring to was the open engine bay which hasn't been an option on recent spider models.
Stunning! Amazing! Much better than coupè.. I believe that the SF90 was born from the J50 and that its vocation is that of a roadster. It works much better in this configuration. Beautiful car, stunning color. I hate that horrible fin. Wherever you put it, it's horrible
Sad day for the Ferrari s history...it could be an NSX and nobody would be interested...the truth is they simply capitalize on the badge.
Even though the coupe was launched first. It looks to me as the SF90 was designed to be a spider first and the coupe is an after thought ?
