Anybody else find these early F80 reviews amusing? The journalists criticized the SF90 because it was wide, had little luggage space, and when you turn ESC off and try to power slide it at 120 mph it was a handful with the front wheels driving and torque vectoring.

Well, none of them seemed to try the F80 with ESC off and slide it, and it's wider than a SF90, but nobody seems to mind. And no luggage space is okay now.

Of course the F80 is amazing, but I think they are now accepting of the AWD hybrid setup. Maybe they owe the SF90 an apology?

Regarding luggage space, the F80 is a hypercar and there are no such expectations really, whereas the SF90 is regarded as more every day car. I disagree with that view, but journalists have to find some flaws to write about...

But you are right, the press was unfair towards the SF90 as it was the first Ferrari with these characteristics (AWD hybrid) and it puzzled them.

  3. I dunno, have you driven both to say that the reviewers are wrong, or being unfair to the SF90?

No, I have not driven the F80 yet, so you are completely correct.

Yes, they were the two ESC off power sliding the SF90. Did anyone do the same exercise with the F80?

So Chris suggests he turned ESC off and he absolutely loved it. There we have it, the SF90 is horrible power sliding with ESC off and the F80 is magnificent.
