Hey everyone, which one are you planning to get? I feel like the Fiorano version suits the car better, but I've heard it might be stiff for street driving, and there's no lift available. I'm having a hard time making a decision. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

I have the Assetto Fiorano package on my current SF90 and it’s been fine on the street. Not having the lift requires a few compromises as far as where I can take the car, but I have never thought that the car was too stiff for driving on the street. I understand that lift vs. no lift could be a primary decision point for some, but I love the suspension on my AF-equipped car—and I’m forgoing the lift on my XX car and going with the same suspension as I have on my AF coupe.

    I understand the dilemma.

I think it really does come down to you and your use case. I would use the car- either coupe or spider- for fun drives with friends- 99% of the time in my local area, which I know well.

So, in my case, stowage is not an issue, nor is the lack of lifter nor bumpy road mode. I want something more sporty and more dialed in. That’s the AF pack. But if you want more flexibility- then maybe it’s worth considering the standard setup.

My way to interpret the AF pack is a factory sanctioned aftermarket kit- so if you are someone who would like more than standard, then the AF is for you. At the cost of the lifter and bumpy road mode.

With that said, while the AF is more dialed in, its not truly harsh nor uncomfortable- Ferrari would not offer a suspension that was truly unsuitably stiff for the street. And that’s my experience with the AF on both the SF90 and 296- entirely fine for the street- it is not too stiff by my own standards and expectations. However, neither is it luxury car smooth- which is not what I’d want in a car designed to be fun. And the body control is truly at the next generation. Driving the non AF car by comparison is not a bad experience, but, if you are sensitive to it, you can tell it’s just not as focused, its a little bit (relatively) sloppier.

I will probably order the AF on my car but, like you, I am giving it a little extra thought.
