Congrats Ghost! I used to be a lurker in the Tri-state forum back when I was still in NYC and enjoyed the EC gang's posts Glad to see that you are still going strong in SG!
Geez Vik! Didn't know that is yours I saw it few weeks back in the store & it must be the first orange 560. Congrats & please call for a drive when she's ready though I may not be able to join since I'm stationed in KL now. Btw, got over the price stigma between here & US huh?
Thanks for everybody's well wishes. I'm looking forward to getting some miles in and then providing a driver update. Particularly keen to see how she compares to my previous Gallardo, which I was also very fond of. Some specific responses to posts noted below: No kit. It looks that fierce from the factory. - Quad exhaust is standard. Technically, the second one delivered, but the first one went to M'sia, so this is the first one that remains in Singapore. ...And glad to see that you're (not) lurking here - Hope to see you posting more. Thanks Jon. My whip just arrived on Monday so you probably saw the other pearl orange LP560. Not sure one ever gets "over" the stigma. Can't help but thinking could have had a Carrera GT and an LP640 in the US for LP560 money here. But passion knows no end, and you just learn to deal. Pay to play, right. - Sure, let me know when and where. Car will likely be home on Saturday. Best.
Thanks Big-I. Now am just waiting for a worthy stead to accompany her. <cough> <cough> - Hope the early days of Fatherhood are enjoyable bro. Getting any sleep? - Best.
Thx again guys. But of course. You know I don't play it any other way. No shots of seats yet as was covered up during PDI. Will post once delivered. Sure, anytime.
Oh great! The manual option must be a strange request to Mel. & I wonder how it measures up with all the "upgrades" received over the years (most were for the Egear). Do remember to put protection stickers & there are quite a few installers these days. Choose wisely. Btw, love the diamond cabin Did you get a nice plate for it? The vanity plate was given a green light but nothing from LTA till date. As for driving, when you're ready, bring her up Malaysian highways for a blast. Some guys clock, ahem..... 200mph (not me)
A few more pics taken from today's meet with a few buddies. Big up to Sameer for organizing the get-together. The Night Hawk was there too. Good catching up with A, G and H. Day 2 of of actually having her home. Too early to write a proper driver report, but first impressions are fantastic. Will post a few pics of the interior once I get a good D-SLR. Enjoy.
