    Hi - I have a frequently used ( 3 or 4 times a week) , 612 with 59k, generally runs great, but last week on a low speed drive, yellow engine management light came on. When stopped at idle runs lumpy, normally silky smooth. Weirdly, next day when cold runs well, but 10 mins later, same again. Any ideas?

    First action is to pull the code. That will tell you more than any random guess, even from this knowledgeable group. My random guess: either a vacuum leak or a MAF issue but I would go with vacuum leak as my first guess.

    Many thanks, a pal plugged the car in for codes - p0358, P1049. Seems to be a coil, going to buy one , and a friend will try to replace it - fingers crossed ! amazing how smelly with fuel it is when running! B

    There are twelve of them, one for each spark plug. Do you know which one is bad?

    Looking up the code, P0358 (kindly a member posted the codes) is cylinder 8. No idea what P1049, does not appear in searches for Ferrari, generically it refers to reductant Injector High control circuit high voltage, whatever the heck that means :)
