    Great pics and even better website. How do you like the new version of the Formula Renault? I drove one some years ago and really liked the car.

    Glad to hear you liked the pictures and my web site. Shanghai GP was a lot of fun.

    2004 spec Formula Renault is much better than the 2002 spec. Engine red lines to 7,300rpm in a flash and has much more torque at the higher rpm. With the new bodywork high speed corners are much more stable. For a typical track of say 4.2km the newer car will be 1.5 to 2 seconds faster. Performance improvement is even more than the jump 2002 spec experienced over the original 2000 spec car. Don't know the pre-2000 spec cars as they were completely different animals. Yes, they are a dream to drive aren't they? Great bang for the buck.

    Thanks for sharing your pics of the Shanghai GP. Had a look at your great website, was actually shocked to see the pics of your mangled 355, glad that you kept your sense of humour.

    Well, that shunt was temporary brain fade on my part. Can't blame it on anyone other than myself. I was not hurt, but my wallet didn't do so well after the repair bill came.
