Shared revenue websites?

Hi all, I recently got invited by a friend to a content sharing website which claims that the site would share the revenue made by your uploaded contents with you with no hidden costs whatsover. I was wondering are these things trustworthy? I never heard of websites sharing money to users before so i'm a bit worried if it is a scam or not. Where would the money come from anyway?

That said they do have a Ferrari group on there with some nice photos.
