It has been awhile, since the last time I drove my Modena 360 F1. Weather has not been good here...Yesterday, I took it out for a drive, punched it on the highway to make a pass for an exit...Beeping sound with F1 light blinking, intermitten on/off. Finally, I exit and got to a stop light, notice my display appear in "6" gear and my F1 light stay solid on. I lightly step on the gas, engine roar, but not moving. I decided to shut off the engine, hoping it would reset itself, for me at least to get into neutral to push the car off the side. :(...but that didn't do it! in addition, my eng would not start, as if it is stuck in 6 gear and not in neutral...I waited for about 5minutes and tried it again, I held both of the shift lever torward me for about 10seconds, it kick in neutral, my engine now starts, but the F1 light still on, and cannot put it in gear. Well, at least my engine started and I was in neutral, LOL. I tow it home...
I have a feeling something is going on with my F1 pump losing pressure and or F1 relay is not doing its job to keep up with pump demand....Can't wait to get my hand on her, she is having a flu, and is in the garage now...:(.
Anyone interest for a follow up, I will keep you update as soon as I have something, Otherwise I will keep my "yapper" close, because I respect people that don't want to hear "yapper".
    Have a wonderful guys....:)

You need to diagnose the pump. Does it run for about 7-10 seconds when you open the door after leaving it for several hours? Does it run for more than 12 seconds -- indicating it cannot meet the pressure switch. If you open the door and let it run then shut the door and in about 3 or 4 seconds open the door again does it run again. Any of these last two would lead me to believe that the pump cannot maintain pressure. I don't think the relay would have any affect as all it does is close on a signal from the pressure switch and open when the pressure switch indicates full pressure. As these sometimes go bad it's probably a good idea to change it anyway as they are not expensive if you get the BMW one instead of the Ferrari one.
One more thing to try is shutting off the battery switch for a while to see if it resets itself.

Yes, Alan. Thank you very much for pointing that out...I did noticed the pump ran longer then normal compare to many times from last year that u use the car. Those two symptom you describe, very much fit in the behavior of my car...You are absolutely right, it does appear somehow, the pump unable to maintane the proper pressure for the system to operate when desire on hard acceleration.
One the side note, I order a Bosch relay. 70amp 5prom. I would have to make some changes on the harness connection to adapt a "non Ferrari" relay onto the socket.
