This looks amazing!!!!
Shawn, The color looks great!! My car was originally Azzuro (non-metallic), despite my car having just finished a restoration I would love to have it back in its original color. Although around 90 were delivered in Azzuro (more of an early Porsche color than Ferrari) it seems few are properly repainted to original. Seeing your car in blue is tempting. A picture of my car as is and one from the web in Azzuro. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I brought Shawn's Dino back from paint today and started reassembly. I love Dino Blue Metallic and this is a beautiful job!! Awesome!!! Just a side note, for those who have never seen how Jon does stuff, I am still amazed how he handles these cars. He has a bit of OCD. It can be seen by how my car and another are coming together at the same time. I am still amazed at how he separates, sorts and keeps track of ALL the small bits. He has a system based on the parts catalog and a system based on the car. This is never seen in the pictures, but knowing what he is doing and what I am watching, it is unlike anything I have seen before. Shawn

So being in Houston, it gets a bit hot here. Air conditioning is a wonderful invention that overcomes all kinds of issues. I love this picture. I can't believe I told Jon to go ahead and make the A/C as factory. I am such an idiot, but wanted it to work as intended. The smarter thing to do would have been nothing. You can't tell it is cooling anyway. I had considered a proper A/C upgrade that I have seen in a Houston Dino before. I think that is the first and only time I had to turn the Dino A/C down in Houston summertime. However, there would have been some very minor, but noticeable things in the engine compartment. The guy here in Houston that has done the A/C upgrade before is Oscar at Custom Car Cool. Sitting in the car, it is a standard look. Inside the engine bay, you can see additional A/C lines run. Like I said, I had to turn it down it was SO cold. That was in Houston summertime and it was at least 90+ degrees out.... If anyone wants a "Proper" A/C, look Oscar up. As for wheels, Jon is like a Factory Option Catalog.... Jon redid the original wheels and the caps. For fun, he is fitting the repro Campy's that I had bought when Superformance first started offering them. As any girl would confess, there is nothing like an extra set of shoe's. Scott..... Pretty tires, huh? Shawn Image Unavailable, Please Login
A/C is mandatory here in Texas. If you have to modify it to make it better, then do it. Up until the 1990s the European manufacturers were way behind the USA regarding automotive HVAC.
AC is half the battle. No matter how strong it is without window tint you're just not going to cool the car.
