What a beautiful car! I love the small details - the stitching on the seats, the red center caps. Just curious, what is your favorite option or part? Congrats.
I love the fact that this is more than just a material object for you, and that your actual family ( as well as your extended FChat family ) were able to share in the design process, and the wait and even some of the angst. When you say you will keep her forever, I think you truly mean it. There will always be something faster or sharper or more modern or whatever, but doubtful anything more special. Enjoy her in good health my friend. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Thank you so much. Your sincere comments definitely resonate with me. No question this represents more than just a car ( even a special car) to me and my family. The memories from our trip to TM in Maranello still linger and I took my wife and daughter back to the factory again last month. I can tell that the whole experience really changed my wife's attitude toward Ferraris in general and definitely this one. My daughter will inherit this F12 some day. I hope it makes her think of me a lot when I'm gone!! As you said, I am done chasing the next great thing. Of course, 731hp is and will be more than I can ever sanely use at my skill level. Not to mention that IMHO a NA V12 is and always will be the pinnacle of Ferrari powerplants. Cheers.
Was attaching my trickle charger for the first time tonight and noticed this plaque in the boot for the first time. Wonder if this is standard ?? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Mark, I understand that it will come with my 2017 488, but I could not find one on our 2015 F12. Maybe, it started with 2016 models? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's just absolutely awesome. It's so interesting that someone can become a car designer and create something no one else has in the world. And to do it so well!
It started on 2016 models. Is a nice touch - although mine looks slightly emptier than Mark's.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
