Shelton Ferrari What's the inside story?

Didn't they split a while ago?

 

Does discussing it on a public forum that Shelton/FOFL frequent, make it an "inside story"?

 

The brother's Shelton decided to sell a while long ago and just retire from Ferrari politics. They wanted to be sure that the right group would come along and take care of their baby. No inside story, nothing for the evening news, they didn't split, its just what I said. They may continue dabbling in racing, but I think they just want to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

I say this from personal knowledge.

 

Ron's take on the sale is precisely the truth. Tom and Steve had been Ferrari dealers for a very long time and because I speak with them often I can mention that they miss being in the biz today. But, as we all know people move on.
The new owners have changed a few things and are trying very hard to make it work with some fresh ideas. The same players are there so the faces are familiar. I think a visit to Ferrari of Ft. Lauderdale would give everyone the same, easy-going and honest experience that has always been the rule. Bud, Benn and John are still the Ferrari sales guys. Joe Yuliano and Bill Morris still run the back and I know are eager to give great service. I'm sure they will do a great job at Maranello Madness so you might want to get to Moroso and check it out for yourself.
The truth be told, there's no hidden story to tell.

 

Slight misunderstanding. The split I refered to was New England / Long Island not the Shelton's. Sorry.

 

I had an annual fluid service done a few weeks ago. They picked my 430 up from my house ( flat bed truck) did the service and delivered it back. Now, that's service!!

 

I think everyone got it spot on......
