Taking advantage of the warm weather, plus the need to remove the 308 from the enclosed trailer so it could be setup for the FC open wheel car (still at the USA distributor) for the 2007 race season... Had a jumper battery ready just in case as the 308 has been dormant for about 4 months. The Enersys PC680 battery really does hold a charge as i simply inserted the electrical cutoff key, usual bits to prep the car for first start, then turned the ignition key and she started right up like normal.

Hearing the engine brought a nice smile to my face. Alas, did not take her for a drive yet did let her idle for a few minutes and plan to drive her later today for 20+ miles including the usually Italian Tune Up once she is all warm and happy.

    Spring has sprung!

    Followed by mud season...

    And then black fly season...

Am picking up the FC open wheelie next week or so and hope a few Fchatters can make it to NHIS (Louden) April 9/10 for my very first go with that beast.

Anywho, was really awesome hearing the 308 and being in the driver's seat. G-d i soooo miss the race track!!!

I am glad your baby awoke without being cranky. I am planning to bring mine out of hibernation the week after next.

Who is running the event at NHIS on April 9th and 10th? I am interested in signing up.

    That's great Steven.

Well, at least you know she's not pissed of at you, the 308, for the neglect.;)
