And then some. I think it's tough for words to express the sheer joy of your first Ferrari...but here goes nothing: Wow. 95 355B, Nero with challenge grill and aftermarket rims - about 41k miles, and stock exhaust (not for long!). I previously had a Maserati before this (wonderful car), but this is just a different level. I'm a bigtime DIY-er too...to me that's half the fun of having the car. No doubt I'll be reading through the volumes of great threads when the time comes. Now can someone tell me when the shaking stops? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Congratulations! Eventually the shaking stops, but you'll always turn around and look at it when you get out and walk away. Good pick, best year 355. DIYers live here! Now, DRIVE IT LIKE YA STOLE IT!
Congratulations!! I STILL smile ear to ear every time I walk into the garage! You will be able to control the shaking, but the grin is uncontrollable!!
Ed, you post make me smile. I remember that feeling. It's a beautiful car and I hope it gives you many pleasurable, trouble-free miles.
Nice car and without a doubt the best year of the 355. I remember that car for sale recently. I am glad she found a good home.
Nero, niiiiice Here's the bad part, I've had mine for a few months and still smiling. My cheeks have hurt since I touched the keys. People tell me bad news and I'm still smiling, they think I've lost my mind. A stock I own went down 20% last month....still smiling. The wife gets mad when I go to the garage to kiss it good night. Eating dinner as I stare at it through the window. Having to roll the window down to hear people say "nice car" You'll get use to it.
My thoughts exactly. I go in the garage sometimes and just gaze. It is the most incredible experience with a car that i have ever had. Congrats on your new acquisition!
The shaking has only just started I'm afraid. You'll get used to it tho... Gorgeous car - I can't wait to see the interior better. Looks very unique color combo inside. If I hadn't found my Rosso GTS, I definitely would have went Nero Berlinetta. So menacing looking!!
Looks like you bought the car at Ferrari of New England- I drove that car- some condition issues but a steal of a deal considering the $20K+ worth of worth the dealer just did to it- Enjoy!!
Yup, this was the one from FNE. It was a great deal, and they were fantastic to deal with- to the point that my brother went up to check it out for me (lives in the area), and they let him test drive a new california and maserati GTS too. Anyways, thanks for all the well wishes! I bought it to enjoy and put miles on...hoping to have to change the belts due to mileage rather than years. Put about 130 on this morning on a perfect mountain drive (read: no one else on the road). Clarkson was right when he said this is the best car in the world-ever. The rims are speedlines- 18". Fronts have a 225, rears have 295's (!). Anyways, a couple more shots, since one can never have too many pics of a Ferrari Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
