Just got my yoshi shields, but need placement advice. the website says above the side marker, I dont have a side marker, can someone with factory shields get me some measurements? thanks.

Skip the lecture, I know they are not factory, neither are the Novitec wheels or X-OST!

Here you go. These were sent to me by Steve.

Keep in mind that the "seam" for the door does not remain at a constant relative distance (as it travels from the top to the bottom) from the sheild.

My measurements are therefore given with these provisos......

For the "across" distance from the door seam.

-exactly 3 and 1/2 inches measured in a straight line across from the door seam to the BOTTOM "V" point of the sheild.

For the "down" distance from the hood seam

-exactly 2 and 3/8 inches measured in a staight line down from the hood seam to the TOP of the CENTRAL "V" point at the TOP of the sheild. In this case, I say "central V point" because at the top of the sheild there are 3 "V" points...one on each side and one on the middle (central). You want to measure to the top of the middle one.
The bottom of the sheild has only one "V" point...so, no worries there.

To get these particular measurements for both axises in an EXACT STRAIGHT LINE, you will have to have the sheild in the exact same spot that mine is on my car. It was a factory sheild, so it better be positined right!, LOL.

    They work perfectly

Ok guys, the original ones are mounted in a recess, so they are barely protruding from the surface of the fender.
    How did you attach yours?
How much they end up protruding?
    Tks,
    Saluti,

The Yoshi shields have the same protruding from the fender as the recessed shields. They are of the same quality as well.

Hakan, you may order a new Ferrari from the dealer with the shields on the fenders, in which case the fenders will have a recess where the shields are mounted.
If the car did not come from the factory with the original shields, then your best option is to go with the Yomagic.
They are well made and very thin: the tricky part is to place them in the correct position though.
