Anybody replace their shift knob with something not Aluminum? I was looking at Momo's site and they have a lot of cool looking knobs. The question though - do they fit? Is there some standard for these things?

How about steering wheels - I was thinking of getting a spacer and then might as well replace the whole thing. But, I heard its either illegal or not desirable to replace the steering wheel on an airbag car. I have never done any kind of work like this - is this something I could do on my own? Again, Momo has some cool looking wheels.

I put a Momo suede-grip wheel on my 328, and it has been great; however, that car doesn't have an airbag to deal with when swapping out. It was a simple installation. I also bought a Momo shift knob that is leather and aluminum. It was also a very simple installation, and it has worked flawlessly for about 2 years now.

You may be able to put a wheel from a 360 in your car. I am not completely sure however.

    Excuse post

I was on phone and typing and what I typed made no sense.

I was inquiring about your comment about wheel:

Are you referring to a Momo 360 version or a production 360 version.

Ah, I understand. I was really confused for a minute.

I was referring to the OE 360 wheel. While I was on ebay I once saw one for sale (360 wheel + airbag). The seller claimed he had gotten it for his 355, but was now selling his 355 so had no use for the wheel. Since I do not have a 355, I did not inquire any further.
