I have a 206gt that is leaking trans oil from the shift shaft. I see that there is an o ring sold for the shaft. Is that what seals the shaft to the case or is there a oil seal inside the case? How would you replace the o ring or seal? I noticed that there is a removable plate on the bottom of the case.
    Thanks in advance

If you look in the 308/328 section there are endless threads on this subject and the 206 is effectively the same design. Simply put there are 2 O-Rings that seal the shift shaft. One seals where the shaft comes out of the engine and another seals between the engine oil sump and gearbox oil sump. If you are changing one you will want to change both. Again I urge you to look in the 3X8 area as there is tons on information on the subject.
