    ...just for reference, if someday your automatic shifter suddenly gets sloppy (as mine did suddenly as the rubber grommet in the shift lever near the tranny wasted away...). I don't know if this is the original bushing set, but it does fit perfectly...middle is a plastic sleeve---Lee

    Thanks for the linkage info, hopefully I'll never need it !

    I assume they do but can anyone confirm whether the 1,2,D,N,R,P legends illuminate when the lights are on and/or when the relevant gear is selected.

    I have a stray bulb holder with no bulb in knocking around under centre console and a clear lens of some kind attached to the gear shift lever by a toothed clamp imprinted with the words "INSULOID" and "PAT" but it's not a bulb as such.

    I'd like to get this working if possible so any advice is much appreciated.
