I have a 360 spider with an F-1 transmission. I notice a "burning smell" when I shift sometimes, usually between 2nd and 3rd.

    Any thoughts?

How many miles on the car? Any leaks around either the F1 fluid reservoir and/or the inspection hole for the clutch area? Could be leaky rear main causing oil to spray a little on clutch, and slipping 2-3 shift, could be leaky reservoir and fluid is low, or could just be a worn out clutch - what year is the car? Could updates be needed to either software or hardware? When was the last time it saw a dealer/service tech? Do you live in a hilly area, lots of stop/start on hills, reversing up hills etc?

Sorry for the interrogation, but there are SO many variables to consider, it'll help to get a bit more specific

The car only has 3500 miles. I am the second owner, I bought it 1000 miles ago. No leaks at all.
